The origins of this church can be traced back to the 13th century. Its present appearance is the result of a reconstruction of the choir and gable in 1855, crafted from Marquise stone. The stained glass windows, a creation of the master glassmaker Jules Dreptin, were installed following the First World War. In 2018, the roof underwent renovation, and a lightning rod was installed on the bell tower. The gable received a fresh coat of white paint.
