“Let yourself be swept away by the fascinating magic of the Forêt Domaniale de Guînes, as autumn gently settles in with its reddish hues. Imagine yourself walking on the crunching leaves with every step you take. Shhhh, at the crossroads a doe appears, feasting on buds on which you can see droplets of the fresh morning dew. Her coat glistens through the beams of light shining through the thick mass of forest. A wonderful encounter, a meeting of the eyes, a unique feeling in the face of nature’s beauty. Oops, a crack of a twig and 4…3…2…1… she straightens up, ears erect, and disappears into deep nature. A shower of leaves flutters and blows in the wind, chestnuts make way for themselves on the colorful beds, much to the delight of the little beasts licking their lips. The sun’s rays play hide-and-seek with the birches, ashes, beeches and hundred-year-old fir trees that have braved the changing seasons and still stand proudly in this vast expanse. The sound of birdsong all around you will give you the impression of being in an enchanted world, out of time, and allow you to disconnect for the time of a stroll. ”
